I'm an over 21 unmarried child whose IR-2 got approved under CSPA. I have the filed the DS-261 and have paid the fees, and now at the interview stage. I have some questions.

I just got a passport number and am now at the stage where I need a medical exam so I can schedule an interview.

1. Can I delay my immigration at this point indefinitely?

2. What can I do to make sure that my petition/visa application won't expire?

3. Is it possible for me to do the interview and then request that the visa's processing be delayed, or processed only when I need it?

no,

none of the above, the visa is to immigrate, you close it now and you will have abandoned your petition

the visa will have an expiration date, you must enter the country before the visa expires or you will loose the visa

if you didn't  want to move here, why did they continue with the petition?
