Help Needed!!! I130

Hey everyone!

 

So my husband was married twice, the first time was during the 80s( when he was about 18) which didnt last very long and the second time was when he was a bit older (in his 30s). I will be his third marriage and we have a age gap. Our marriage is very real, we also have a 10 month old son together and have been living together for almost 3 years. My questions are:

 

1)Will this be a problem once i file my application for adjustment of status(i130&i485)?

 

2) He's having problems locating his divorce certificate from his first marriage, do we have to submit that divorce  certificate or can we just submit the certificate from the second marriage ?

 

If anyone can give me any advice for this situation i will greatly appreciate it.

Your strong relationship history will most likely outweigh any doubts caused by the age gap and number of marriages. Did he petition for any of the former wife's to immigrate?

 

You will definitely need both divorce decrees. 

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

9/23/16: Received biometrics appointment letter (day 11)

10/3/16: Biometrics appointment (day 19)

11/4/16: EAD+AP approved (day 53)

11/16/16: EAD status changed to card shipped (day 65)

11/17/16: EAD/AP combo card received (day 66)

12/30/16: Notice of interview scheduled (day 109)

2/1/17: AOS interview (day 142) - APPROVED

2/8/17: GC received (day 150)

 

ROC process:

11/3/2018: ROC window opens

go to the courthouse where the first divorce was filed - you can get attested copies there. you'll definitely need it.

2006 - Entered US on F-1
2009 - COS to H-1
2011 - Married USC

Conditional GC Process:
04/2012 - Concurrent I-130 petition / I-485 AOS / I-765 EAD / I-131 AP sent
35 days to biometrics, 73 days to EAD/AP combo card, 85 days to interview, 96 days to Conditional Green Card

04/2014 - Eligible for ROC

06/2014 - I-751 package filing joint with spouse sent

5 days to extension,37 days to biometrics, 172 days to CSC transfer, 247 days to Green Card

04/2015 - Eligible for Citizenship

09/2015 - N-400 package filing on basis of USC spouse sent

29 days to biometrics, 105 days to interview, 147 days to oath and US citizenship

~ 9 years and 6 months from first entry to US citizenship
