HI All

 

I moved to the us on a fiance VISA, I got married and now I am living with my wife and her two parents in her parents house. her parents receive food stamp and medicaid. now we have a form to add me on their house hold. It requires me to give a bank statement. I have more than a 10000 $ in my account . would that affects them? may be the department of workforce may cut the medicaid ?

It is likely that Medicaid and Food Stamp Program will take your savings into account and decide her parents don't need food stamps.  But they will also take into account that there are 4 people living in the house.
