Can I use my passport with my maiden name on it for my biometrics appointment? I don't have a US driver’s license and a state ID. I can apply for a state ID tomorrow but I'm not sure if they will also give it to me tomorrow or i wait for it in the mail. My biometrics appointment is this coming Monday already. Thanks a lot.

a state I'd is good to have so you don't risk losing your passport.

bring your marriage certificate since that is the legal document which shows you legal name change. think of it as the passport associates the face with a name and the marriage certificate shows that legally the name was changed from what is on the passport to the name of the person who has the interview.

good luck

@Jessica V.A. Hi. I hope you don't mind, but I would really appreciate it if you could tell me if the ASC accepted your passport with maiden name as a valid ID during your biometrics appointment? Thank you very much.
