My girl is filling out her g325 and her parents were killed when she was a baby and she was raised by her aunt. She has her parents names but neither dob or where they were born, will this cause delay in approval?

It shouldn't cause any delay. My fiance knew when his dad (now deceased) was born, but neither he nor his mom could remember where he was born. He put 'unknown' for that.

Granted, my NOA2 took 128 days  but I sincerely doubt it was because of 'unknown' on the G325 A.

I definitely do not know the real answer to this question but, that said, I would imagine you should be fine. I'd include a cover letter stating why you do not know the dates or where they were born. Just curious, but does her aunt not know at least 'where' they were born?

Like I said, I think if you include a cover letter explaining the situation and then in the actual place for DOB just write "unknown" or something like that.

Again, I'm only guessing as to what you should do...but I'd think that would be enough.

I would think the day and place of birth of her parents should be on her Birth Certificate. Or am I wrong?

We also did not know the DOB or location for my fiancee's father. We put 'unknown'. We were never questioned about it...

Depends, I guess, on how each country does their birth certificates. My fiance's includes his parent's full names and even his dad's occupation (!) but not their dates of birth.

Put as much information as you know (what country they were born in, year date if you have it...the aunt should roughly know when her brother/sister was born, shouldn't she?) but also include an explanation either on the cover page or a page immediately following the biographic info sheets stating the circumstances. Perhaps give her aunt's information as well as she was her legal guardian.

Well, my BC has places and days of birth of both of my parents, as well as their occupation. I even have all of my grandparents on it! But as you said, every country puts different, more or less detailed, information...

You could be. My husband (from Peru) has the long form birth certificate with that info, but all I have is the short form, and if not for my parents telling me where they were born, I wouldn't know.
