My fiancee just finished her medical exams at Akai clinic. was around 1830 Ghana cedis. Our interview date is january 31st, but she was asked to come back on feb 2nd after the interview with 350 Ghana cedis for more shots. Anyone had any experience with more shots after interview date and how that goes?

That doesn't sound correct honestly, unless it is a second shot for a series or just need the gap in time between certain vaccinations....

If it is legit, then she would most likely get a 221g at the interview for an incomplete medical report, and would be delayed until it is fully submitted.

Its just a series of shots..the second is just after the interview date. They're aware its after her interview date. she says the report will be ready for pick up on 25th for the interview. she will just have to go back later for the shot.

If that's the case then seems okay.

Question as to how the Ghana Medical works though, the intial cost for the medical, does that include ALL vaccinations? If it does not, then the extra cost seems legit, if it states ALL vaccinations are included, then she may be getting asked for money so to say. It does happen in some countries that people get asked for extra money because they are unaware of what the actual cost of things are, or how it all works. Just osmething to look at.

I am not sure if its inclusive of all vaccinations, but in the packets the embassy sent to us, thats the facilities they use. Even if they're cheating us, who are we to say anything. We just follow their directions in hopes to just get the visa. You may be right though. its already costly enough, but ill wait to hear from other Ghanaians that have gone through that process.

They are just trying to get you to spend more money. I just literally went thru this about a week ago

Its quite obvious thats their trick, but what choice do we have? we just have to suck it up and fork out the money. its a shame!

Well im not, my husband has his sealed medical exam and vaccine. He is just waiting to pick up his visa. The doctor told him to come back in two weeks for more vaccine. Its pointless for my husband, if he need anymore vaccine he can get them done in the U.S for free. Lol

My fiance went to Akai clinic just 2 weeks ago & it cost the same & they told him the same thing, to come after the interview with 350 for the booster shots of what they gave him at the exam....
