Try logging in the ceac website. Once you are able to log in. Then your case is open.

Should i start the logging in and pay the application fees without welcome letter ?

Looking at your snap chat i see that you don't have the DS261 option. Did you select a choice of agent before. Just do what it requires. Pay AOS fee and continue. You should call NVC for clarity on the DS261 section. It should in the order of choice of agent, AOS, IV fee.

Thank you so much, I appreciate all your help with this.

Guys, I called NVC and the DS-261 that we filled out in 2011 is still valid, thanks for all your help. I paid the AOS fees, two questions:

1. Do you know how long it will take before I can pay the IV fees?

2. Do you have any idea how the calculate the CSPA age? and how does it work. Now, the site shows my nephew , his wife and 2 daughters. They did now include his eldest daughter IV fee to be paid as she is 22 years now. Any idea?

About one and half week after AOS fee is paid then IV fee will open. As far as the CSPA, i have no idea.

Gowrie,

CSPA age is counted when the priority date becomes current. At that time, contact NVC and if CSPA age is below 21 then NVC will add the child name.

You filled DS261 in 2011. ?????

Thank you redsquash,  ok, this is very promising....She is 22 years old, they have been waiting for 12 years, so if the PD becomes current sometime this year she will still be able to come.

Yes, we filled the Choice of Agent form back in 2011 as my nephew and his 3 daughters had receive their WL but it did not include his wife (at the time they were not legally married) After he included his wife it took another 7 years, and in the meantime his eldest daughter aged out.

Gowrie

To the best of my knowledge. .

The year ur case was approved by uscis is deducted from ur pd.. that will b the age of ur child. . Eg case filed May2006 , approved 2008 , that's a 2 yr difference. Therefore 2 years r off ur child's age. So if she is now 22.. for nvc she is 20 years old.
