I've been checking for a few days now, and I don't think there's a forum for January 2017 filers yet, so I'm going to start one. I just sent my mom's petition today via Fedex and it should be received

To those who are curious what the next steps are after the USCIS approval, here's my NVC timeline (so far):   06/13/17 - I-130 approved 07/20/17 - got my NVC case ID and invoice # over

Got it in the mail, online status is not yet updated as of today.

Well I've completed all the NVC paperwork and am now waiting for them to review the file and send overseas for interview.

04/18/13 - Able to check status on USCIS site

04/18/13 - Received biometrics notice for 5/8/13 apt

04/23/13 - Biometrics completed by walk-in

05/14/13 - I-485 Case Status updated to Testing & Interview

05/20/13 - Text message (as of 5/19/13 I-485 interview date set for 6/20/13)06/10/13 - Status update - AP approved EAD in card production

06/14/13 - Status update - EAD/AP card mailed out (Tracker: USPS estimated delivery date 6/17/13)

06/17/13 - EAD/AP Combo Card arrival!!!!!! (I am cute looking in my picluv.gif)06/20/13 - I-485 Interviewgoofy.gif

06/20/13 - Pronto Approval!!!! "As of today you are a Legal Permanent Resident of the USA"

I just spoke to NVC 11:35 pm and they said they just completed my mom's case today, everything is ok and they will email me with interview package; then they send the documents overseas.  I'm wondering if we should go ahead and do the medical or we need the interview letter.  I'm gonna read up on VJ or if anyone can let me know.  Good luck to us all!!

 Congrats! And you need to wait for the interview letter before having medical

wow...i just submitted a request asking for status because it was past my submittion date...i guess now back to waiting :(
