How do I get past automated phone system???

Hello,

 

My fiancé and I are trying to speak with the consulate about appointments. We used their call center number, but can't get past the automated system to speak with a real person. It's getting extremely frustrating. Does anyone have any tricks to get through to a human??

Unfortunately I have run into the exact same thing. I have tried every possible combination and nothing works! Let me know if you hear anything, please

Suggest you call these numbers at the US Consulate Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua = 01-656-227-3000 or 01- 656-344-3003, than option 1, 3, 1 & 1.  That's the format for calling from within Mexico.  If calling from the USA the format is 011-52-656-344-3003, or 011-52-656-227-3000. Buen suerte!

I am guessing you already got the letter that says that NVC will now forward your approved petition to the U.S Embassy & at the bottom it has the case number & fiance's name right? You should be getting the invitation letter where it tells you "your visa case is now ready to process" & it gives you instructions on how to apply for a visa, then to make an account to schedule an ASC appointment & consular interview appointment...I got my letter from NVC then a few days later i got the invitation letter & made an account (I had that all done by Mid-September) but just last Friday I finally scheduled my ASC & Consular appointment (appointment is Beggining of March) since the website wasn't working... how long ago did you get the letter from NVC?
