What does adjudicated mean on visa journey timeline?

Hi I have a question I was looking at my timeline and I saw that it said " Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between March 26, 2017 and May 11, 2017*.  What does this mean? Thanks for answering. How is everyone else's visa going?

I think it means that your petition is likely to sit in a box until then, and that date range is the best guess (based on other timeline statistics) for when agents will be reviewing cases submitted around the same time as yours. Adjudicated means decided.

Best of luck!

It means that's the estimated timeframe of when you are likely to hear back. It could be an RFE, it could be a denial, or (hopefully) it's an approval. Good luck.

Edit: Also, it shifts based on how fast they see USCIS processing other people's cases here. Mine has shifted over a month out recently due to the holiday slowdown.
