Was issued 221g for Police clearance at interview Sept 29. Finally police clearance arrived and embassy MANILA received Nov 23. On Dec 8 finally the case was opened and showed ready. As of now still showing READY and not updated still showing same date of Dec 8. Should we worry or is this normal ?? The consulate kept her passport etc. and told her they could not issue the visa until they get the police clearance.

No reason to worry. A 221g can add WEEKS beyond the normal processing times. Normal times can be a couple weeks, with all the holidays don't be surprised if it is after the new year before you see activity.

Our status was updated to ADMISTRATIVE PROCESSING this morning and already this afternoon it has went to ISSUED!!!     We are so happy now. Only need to wait for the issue to be mailed to her .

 Thanks to all for your help!! I will update my timeline as soon as she receive the visa,

Few more days, being tomorrow is Friday, most likely Monday at the earliest, for the package to be ready for 2GO to pickup from USEM.

 Oh yes for sure but I enjoyed my trip so much. First time ever to fly. I always said I would never fly but love changed that quickly lol.  I remember the words Para and bayud daw     To stop and to pay !!!
