Hi guys,

I am filling out my N400 application form. I am wondering if the questions does not apply to you, I should leave it blank or write N/A?

Additionally, does anyone here have a lawyer help you mailing out the application ? if yes, how much is the attorney fee usually?

$1000 is reasonable?

Hi Guys,

I have a question about the Part 10 about your marital history.

The marriage between me and my spouse is the first marriage for both of us. We are never married before.

So Part 10 question 3 "How many times have you been married?" Should I type 1 or 0? Does it include my current marriage?

Part 10 question 8, how many times has your current spouse been married? Should I type 1 or 0?

Interpret the questions literally and answer honestly. Someone who answers "0" to question 3 has never been married. By virtue of having a spouse, do you think this applies to either of you?

We left the questions that did not apply blank. Answer "1" for your marriages because as Cheezees indicated, you are now married. We did not use a lawyer...why pay $1,000.00 to mail in a form as long as your application is straightforward?
