So i had an appointment today to get my Biometric done, at the time of filling out the form the clerk asked concern that in my id shows my husbands last name and on the application like my pasport ( as my birth Certificate). Ended up talking to an immigration officer and found out that my date of birth is wrong and that I was supposed to file as my marriage certificate shows. I'm not sure if it will slow down my process because now I have to talk to my lawyer who did all my paper work to correct it and get it fix or do it my self.

You file with the name you intend to be yours going forward. If you decided to stop being Miss Smith, and become Mrs. Jones after marrying Mr. Jones, then Jones is not "HIS NAME". It's your name now too. People who change their family name due to marriage, are faced with replacing identification, including passports, as a part of their name change.
