Filing I-130 from abroad??

Hey everyone,

I have a question and hope someone can help me out..

My husband (a lawful permanent resident, living in the States) and I want to file I-130.

I'm an Austrian - still living in Austria.

For Christmas he'll come to visit me and we want to start the filing process and get all the documents together.

Will it be possible to send the documents from Austria (my husband will do the money order in the States before he leaves), or will USCIS think that this is strange and it is better to wait until he returns to the States?

Maybe I'm just worrying too much and it won't be a problem..just want to make sure to do everything right and not to raise eyebrows at USCIS ;-)

Many thanks in advance for your help!

Then won't even notice where it's been mailed from. The petition packages are sent to the lockbox where they receive crates and crates of them every day and they just slice the packages open, grab the stuff that's inside, log it and move on to the next one. They have no time or need to be studying the postage stamps and where it came from.
