Hello

I have a approved I-130 from 2006.

My husband was deported in 2007.

I would like to apply for him to return.

A lawyer told me the first step is send in 824 with a copy of 130 to get him in the system at NVC.

Does this sound correct?

What box do i check on 824?

No the lawyer, is to expensive.

The form seems simple, basic name and address. Just do not know which box to check.

if i can find someone who has done it I should be ok.

Husband deported for overstay visa

he was likely deported for the criminal activity youve previously mentioned. this does not soundDIY.
