Told to bring original I-864 to interview but NVC has it already!

My husband just received his interview date at the embassy, but the email tells him to bring the original, signed-in-ink I-864 Affidavit of Support. However, I already sent it to the NVC!

This is especially bizarre because the NVC explicitly said that I should send the original to the NVC! This is in the checklist that came with the first email from the NVC.

Has anyone seen anything like this? Am I supposed to complete another form and send it to my husband? I don't even remember how I dated it...

My interview letter said the same.

They didn't ask for it at the embassy and the man had the original from the NVC in front of him.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

 

Now a US citizen!
