Thanks for the help, but I am still not sure.

I am Canadian, US citizen with a green card. Is my greencard enough to cross by train?

Ok first stop saying US Citizen with a green card. You are a permanent resident. If you ever say US citizen to the wrong person when you're a permanent resident you can get in a deep load of trouble.

Land crossing you need your Canadian passport to enter Canada. They may ask to see your GC or ask you how you are staying in the US so long. (I've been asked) To get back into the US you need your GC they may or may not look at your passport. GC is enough but sometimes they ask for it.
