Hello guys, I'm a December 2016 CSC filer too,me and my wife got divorced while I751 pending. It was like more than a month ago and I sent a huge package  to USCIS  with my divorce decree and bunch of other proofs that my marriage was entered in a good faith and today I got a notification that 'name was updated'.I would like to get some ideas what could this update stands for?Could it be an pre approval or just they are going to switch my joint application to  a divorce waiver?I'm so confused

Yup, you usually see this right before approval, congratulations!

Just out of curiosity, what date did you file, and are you CSC? On your usual USCIS tracking does it say you got transferred in February or March?

I really hope so but I called USCIS  to get more information but the representative on the line told me that, she still sees that it is pending but nothing negative on my case.Plus when I log in to my case status  this shows up so that's why I'm confused about it.I doubt that it is an approval/

I know, is kind of frustrating and retarded. Is funny how many ignorant people always say. Why dont you apply for citizenship, be legal, bla bla lol if they only knew how complicated and slow this process is. "Rolling eyes"

and yes I thought I would get a notification letting me know that a RFE has been issued for my case. But again, I will have to just wait and see if I get it on the mail. I thought I sent everything lol I do not know what else they possible want lol (as a joke)at the end I am just gonna get divorce and forget about the beautiful and (PERFECT) "America" and go back to where I belong! :P

I know the feeling of "he, why don't you become a citizen?". I am like, "oh, yeah, why didn't I think about that before?". They have NO IDEA.

Hmm I think I need to go make info pass to see what is going on here with my case haha. Do you guys think they will tell me what is going on? I feel like the mycase is just total bs and full of glitch for some of us and tier 1 officers are total useless.

We did move twice in last 6 months (sold home, had to rent an apartment temporarily, and move to our new home we purchased, all three different counties but same state). I did set up PO box and did address change all that..not sure if that is the cause of the delay but I tried to stay positive but this is just going nowhere. Everyone is getting approved except for few of us here hahaha

Maybe I need to stop following this thread for awhile haha

I had the Name updated and Address Updated notifications a day apart, in March. Nothing since then. Dec 16 VSC filer if it makes a difference. Maybe you'll be luckier. :)

Hello everyone! I have some exciting news to share :) Today a little after 5pm I got a text notification from uscis that my case status has been updated. So I immediately had to check on the case tracker app and there it was! It says New Card Is Being Produced!!! I could not believe my eyes. It was on the second receipt number that was showing February 28 glitch. My # is WAC17091001XX

Filed at CSC Dec 28, 2016

NOA letter was date Dec 30 but I received it Jan 7, 2017 (so had to correct my timeline about that).

Had to get an I-551 stamp in my passport Feb 27, 2018.

Did not receive any RFE nor had to go for an interview. Funny thing is we are selling our house and I was freaking out if changing the address would cause further trouble and possibly have the card lost in the mail. But now I feel so relieved it actually is in the works and should have it soon. Good luck everyone and hope you have good news soon :)

So many cases where the letter is coming before the update online... I check my mailbox everyday after work with hopes to find a USCIS letter but only find bills... hehe

Just as I was starting to get anxious over the past few days, I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for everyone else here now.

For what it's worth, it was the 2nd Tracking number which showed the February and March transfer glitches which changed to Card in production

Congrats to all the new approvals!  Just curious, is anyone else waiting in our group?  Our application was receive the first week of December 2016, and we still haven't heard anything :( We called in and had a case status request sent to CSC.  Online, our account still shows the February glitch but that they responded to our case status request, but still no approval.
