Hello,

My fiance worked in Dubai, UAE for 3 years and now resigned and went back to Philippines to do the K-1 process. One of the requirements are having a Police Clearance from countries the lived for more than 6 months. We didn't know about that

before she left Dubai. Is there's a way we can get a Police clearance in Dubai from Philippines even though she is not a resident there anymore?

Also, I'm wondering if I can petition her only by myself because my 2015 annual income was $20,700 and the Poverty Guideline is around $20,030 if I remember right. Is my 2015 Tax return qualify enough alone or it has to be also 125% from my

previous income returns from 2013 to 2015?

Thank you!

Here is a thread containing links to other threads about Dubai and police clearances. It seems it's a waiver country. With that said I've seen people from other waiver countries still get asked for it. So read up :)

For the K1 petition you only need to clear the 100% of poverty line. Later on for aos in the US you will need a higher salary (125%) or a co-sponsor. It will be the CURRENT income that matters.
