Hi beautiful people!

So i got my two year GC today without having an interview and it was the best feeling ever! lol Unfortunately my middle name was incorrect they put my old middle name on it not the married one, but they did good on my EAD combo card. How come they got mistaken on this important card?! LIKE WHY?! now I have to go send this back and wait AGAIN!!! :clock: :cry:I'm so done waiting!!! Was thinking just to disregard it since both starts with initial "D" but at the back of each card were both different. BUT! I Don't wanna take the risk.

Does anybody know how long is the process time for this?

And should I pay the I-90 fee? ( I don't think i made a mistake on my USCIS form that i submitted )

please share your experience and knowledge to me! Thank you!

How does your middle name change due to marriage? Usually only the last name changes...

Example: Mary Grace Smith marries, her husband's last name is Stevens, so her name becomes Mary Grace Stevens.

I know its confusing its an Asian/ Filipino thing that I adapted from my family and their ancestors. Lol

Normally if you got married your last name will be your middle name, then your last name would be the husbands surname.

like;

Jessica May Simpson (Single) Marries Bates

Jessica Simpson Bates ( Married name )

pretty much "May" as the middle name is just gonna be part of her old name (maiden name)

Example: Mary Grace Smith marries, her husband's last name is Stevens, so her name becomes Mary Grace Stevens.

Maiden name becomes new middle name. Legal and extremely common for Filipinas....just do it at SSA office. Edited by Shauneg
