How long after interview will you get the passport with stamped visas?

Hello all,

We have an interview coming up at the London embassy for our immigration visa. Can someone who has gone through this process recently let me know how long it takes after a successful interview to get our passports back with stamped visas?

During my interview, the CO said I could get my passport back in 5-6 business days. True enough, got mine 5 business days after my interview.

You won't get a 'stamped visa' in your passport. It will be printed onto one of the pages. Google images has some good examples if you want to know what it looks like. Your photo will be on it too - so I spent some time yesterday at the photo booth in Tesco perfecting 'the look' that I want for my visa photo since it's going to be in my passport permanently!

It won't be stamped until you pass through immigration at your POE.

My interview was on Monday 31st October and has my passport back by Friday 4th November. Whilst in there it does say allow 17 working days for it to be returned.
