Hi, I have a question because I will file a I-130 for my spouse (f2a) . He is currently working in Singapore (e-pass holder). He is not a Permanent Residence. I want him to have his interview in Singapore.

On Part C.2 what is the right address: his address in Philippines or in Singapore? and definitely at C.19 will be his Singapore address, right ? Please help me. Thank you in advance

Even he is not a PR in SG? he only have a working pass. tnx

Yes, as long as he is there on legally (work visa is good).

He will need to have an NBI (for travel abroad, green version) and CENOMAR/CEMAR from PSA

Thank you. After the interview his visa will issue in Singapore? or they will forward his passport first in US PH embassy then send to him in Singapore?

Yes he will get his passport w/visa in Singapore. There is no reason for his passport to be forwarded to the US embassy in PH

If processing in SG there is no need for your home country to be involved. Everything will be processed through SG. If he travels to the philippines on his way to the US then he will have to complete CFO otherwise he is free to travel straight to the US from SG with no additional requirements from the Philippines or USEM.

Thanks.

Need some more help.

1. form G-325a (Biographic Information) in the question

This form is submitted in connection with an application for:

status as a permanent residence OR others : form I-130

- Tried to consult people but they have 2 different answer. please help

2. form I-130

In filing for your spouse, give last address at which you lived together (include street city, province, if any and country)

- Do i need to answer this question, the scenario was I spend more time with him for the whole month of July in SG after PH wedding. I supposedly answer this, but when we ask an assistance from a comm service who assist petitions. she informed me that I should not put any answer on this question. Need your advise please

3. All certificates must be original or just a photo copy?

Thank you so much in advance

1- You would check the "other" box and specify I-130. You both must complete a G-325A .

https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/g-325a.pdf

2- That is pretty straight forward for question 21 of the I-130. You lived with your spouse in SG, so that is the address you use there. (Truthful always works)

https://www.uscis.gov/system/files_force/files/form/i-130.pdf

3- All documents are copies UNLESS they specifically state it needs to be an original in the instructions (page 2 bottom left side)

Thank you so much.

in form I-130 B.2 (address) can I indicate the mailing address in L.A.? (not my physical / residence address) Because me and my parents live in a apartment somewhere in Santa Barbara. There is a big possibility someday that we will move. Just in case that is possible, my worry is my residence in my Biographic is in Santa Barbara. It will not cause any conflict? And in C.18 ( Address in United States where your relative intent to live) I indicated my physical/residence address

Use your actual address. It is OK if you address changes.. there is a way to update that info easily.

Thank for all your advices. I already received my form I-797 what's next? how long should I wait for the approval?

Once the petition is approved the case file moves to NVC for more processing.
