I plan to marry my fiance and I want to make sure I give myself enough time to get everything processed. I wanted to stay for at least 58 days. I was wondering if I book a flight where I will land around April 11 and leave June 9 will require me to have a visa to enter. I know I will have to file at least one extension, but since my round trip ticket will be past the 30 days will i be allowed to fly there? I'm not worried about paying the extra for the extension just trying to avoid the hassle of mailing in for a visa

You do not need a visa before arriving, you will automatically get a 30 visa upon arrival. You can get the 59 day visa upon arrival (I have done this), most times, just ask for it when at the immigration window at the airport, they will stamp your passport and collect the fees. If they won't do it at the immigration window at the airport you will have to go to a BI office (regional or main office) to get the 59 day visa, this is fairly painless as well (and I have done this also)

As for the airline, as long as you have a round trip ticket you should have zero issues. I never had issues, and some times we stay for 3-4 months.

(Being I am married to a Filipina, I now get a BB stamp in my passport so no visa needed)

For getting married in the Philippines make sure to get “Certificate of Legal Capacity to Contract Marriage”, you will need to make an appointment with USEM to get this.
