Hey All,

I had a quick question. I've already submitted my I-130 packet (fingers crossed for a quick submission) for a CR-1 visa. I had made two trips to visit my wife prior to submitting the I-130 application. We've luckily been able to get 2.5 weeks off for Christmas and are planning on meeting again!! My question was this -- I want the packet which ultimately goes to the consulate to be as strong as possible. Is it okay to send evidence of this meeting to the NVC, even if they don't need it?

The reason I ask is that from what I've read on VJ, the CO often does not take a look at things you may bring in on the day of the interview. If the evidence instead is sent to the NVC, will it be included as part of the package sent to the embassy? Or would they get pissed off at sending random evidence they do not require?

hi

nope, your spouse will need that evidence for the interview, you don't send any additional evidence of bona fide marriage at the nvc stage. send all that stuff to your wife so she has it for the interview to prove bona fide marriage at her interview
