Hello everyone,

I recently got the NVC welcome letter for an i-130 while in the U.S.

Does that mean I would have to leave the U.S. in order to have my medical exams and interview in my home country?

or can I do that while in the U.S.?

Thanks!

hi

what is your priority date? are you the beneficiary?

the petition for siblings takes from 12 to 14 years

are you legally in the US, because you can't adjust status unless you are legally in the country, if not you would need to leave and depending on how long you have been here illegally, you could have a ban

we need more details of your case

Hi!

The priority date is Feb-2004 (It's current) and yes I am the beneficiary and I am in the U.S. legally.

I received the NVC welcome letter (Not just the I-130 approval. I received that years ago)

My question is solely about being able to do the medical examination and interview here or not.

Thanks!
