Have received NAO2 and waiting for the NVC to receive the petition. once the NVC and Embassy receive the petition. Preparing for packet 3. When sending back packet 3 are the documents on the checklist emailed or mailed back via express Canada post? Is it just the d160 thats sent. What documnets are sent back via packet 3. Are they sent via packet 3 and also same documnets brought to the embassy?
sorry for the question just wondering as reading conflicting info.

You have to send some and bring some to the interview.

In the letter they will tell you exactly what they want when.

You have to send one of their forms stating that you have everything they asked for ready and want an interview date scheduled.

That's also the only one you can't download beforehand.
(At least I didn't find it anywhere)

I honestly don't remember exactly what else I had to send immediately. some online form and the printed confirmation page I think.

Everything in packet 3 is sent via email to Montreal. DS-160, Packet 3 Checklist (signed) and a color scan of your passports biographical pages. As far as what documents to bring I'm going to bring them all. I know for sure you need the ds-160 at the consulate.

Sorry to hijack your post, I will ask my questions here so it can maybe answer yours too

You can find the packet 3 exemple here, to give you an idea what you need

http://photos.state.gov/libraries/canada/303578/montreal/Packet3-K1-MTL.pdf (please make sure it's up to date if you ever use this one)

My Questions:

on point 2, they want a copy of the checklist, is that the 1 page checklist only saying you are ready only? or all the information requested too

on point 3, may sound stupid sorry, but applicant is the beneficiary right?

Thanks :)
