K1 Ready to be Issued?

Hello

My fiance lives in Australia and his visa is being processed through the Sydney US Consulate. I recently noticed that the "date creation date" changed to the current date. I emailed the consulate, and got a reply saying "The case is complete and ready to be issued". However, when I check the status at the ceac.gov website, it still says "administrative processing". Does anyone know how long it takes after the case is "ready to be issued" until the status changes to "issued"?

It depends on the AP ... It can take hours to days and much longer. But since it's AU it should go fast.

Writing them won't do you any good. Be patient.
