I have a picture of the actual receipt that you get stapled to your boarding pass - it shows the taxes at least for CLARK airport

It says 500 php terminal fee

100 php security fee

thank you! I only stayed here for 2 1/2 weeks. So I guess I only need to pay the 200 fee? What about the terminal fees at NAIA?

Where do you pay the exempt tax. Last time we were there 2 weeks and my wife was forced to pay the whole travel tax amount.

I called NAIA and if you have a green card and have stayed in the PH for less than a year, they will issue an certificate to exempt you. Did your wife have a green card at the time she left?

If so that would be something I need to prepare, that's a little silly if the airport is inconsistent..

Mabuhay! There are no terminal fees at NAIA anymore (it is included in your ticket from what I understand), but there are still terminal fees at other airports in the Philippines, Sounds like all you need to pay is the P200 "exempt" tax!

As of October 14th when I departed the Philippines via Clark airport CRK... I was indeed forced to pay 600php. 500 for terminal fee and 100 security fee. I was given the little yellow sticker stapled to my tix. They made me hit the ATM. They do NOT accept credit cards

Oddly enough he WAS in a little booth smack between security and the hallway before you get to the stairs that take you to the boarding gates.

Possibly this is a CRK airport only feature. I don't know I've never flown to Manila.

NAIA is the only airport that seems to be including the fee. Clark is like Cebu.. Terminal fee is still collected at the Cebu airport as well

I did not need to pay Php 200 at all at NAIA, I just handed my passport and greencard at the travel tax section/area.. they just handed me a certificate.

I didn't really need to pay anything at the airport.

That is nice! Last year when at NAIA my wife had to pay P200 at the Travel Tax counter before we could check in with the airline, we were in the Phils 3 months.

I guess they base it on the length of your stay? Not really sure, just guessing. I only stayed there for a little over 2 weeks

My wife has always had to pay the 200 peso fee to get the exemption Certificate but last time she did not just present passport and residence card and they hand her the certificate. Glad to see happened to someone else as well. We've seen things change regarding travel such as the elimination of the OEC requirement in some cases so we are assuming that the exemption fee has been eliminated. That would be nice.. It's a small fee but paying a fee to avoid a fee never made a lot of sense to me.

ECC is still there if a foreigner is in the Phils 6 months> (unless you are there with a BB stamp)
