Hi,

My childrens' case was filed for the uae embassy and I got a case complete on August 3rd. I assumed that the interview would be in October but no word yet and looking at the interview times for uae, it takes 4 to 5 months. I did not get my nine year old enrolled in a uae school this year because I assumed that we would be in USA by November. Now, I cannot waste more of my son's time and would like to get him enrolled in a school in Pakistan (schools in dubai aren't accepting students at this time but schools in Pakistan are). Can I get his case transferred to the Pakistan embassy (the children's birthplace). Is this possible and would it delay my case? Also, what is the procedure?

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much for your honest reply. My lawyer said that he thinks the interview will be scheduled soon so I should just sit tight. I guess I'll just go with what the lawyer said because otherise the process wI'll be even further delated. . Thanks for your help though.

Hi! I'm with amkhan, my case was completed on June 20th... Guess what!? I'm STILL WAITING FOR MY INTERVIEW DATE! This embassy is crazy. I call every day and they just say wait. One guy from June 9 got an interview date for November 10..... I'm June 20th, haven't gotten my date yet.

Pakistan gets interviews in like a month! I'm not sure about how long the transfer would take, but if they transfer you now, you might get an interview for December instead of January or February as it is for Abu Dhabi!

Good luck!

USCIS

Jan 15th noa 1

April 4th noa2

NVC

Received case April 22

June 20th CASE COMPLETE?

Interview date: waited 160 days, January 3 ... APPROVED! VISA COLLECTED JANUARY 5

Arm khan,

I agree that he might be just saying it to avoid the hassle of changing the embassy but nothing can be done at this moment.Jordaache, I know it was after looking at both yours and am khans cases that I realized how long it takes for the uae embassy to schedule. I don't know what the uae embassy's problem is, it shouldn't take this long for an interview. Anyway, thanks.

What was ur cc date and what reason did u give for expediting? Do you think they would expedite given my problem and the fact that I don't really have physical proof
