Hello VJ'ers,

We just got issued today (Tuesday) at 2 pm manila time. We are wondering, since we are picking up the visa from the MOA, when would we be able to pick it up?

Do you think tomorrow, Thursday or Friday?

We are not waiting for an email or text, we will call them lol.

thankx in advances! :)

Hi guys, my interview was on October 3, 2016 not October 1. I checked the stat in CEAC and it is still ready for interview. Only the dates were being updated. First date is October 3, the interview day, and today October 5, but still ready for interview. Why its like that?

That is your "first" "Ready" status.

you will see another ready that says CASE OPEN, check back in two days!

it is quick after that. those are the magic words, after that its just waiting for your ISSUED!!

how many days the case is open will be expected? thank you. do you have your visa on hand?

Two business days for us. that seems to be the norm. but other peoople will try to scare you by telling you it takes up to two weeks.

do some reading here. you will get a better iedea

why some others having an AP for long time even though they're are being approved?

2 typs of AP, one for missing doc (221G),- could take months- the other for no missing doc (this one takes just a day)_. if you are not misisng a doc, then you are good!- one day!

You are saying that if there is no missing docs or 221G that it is only one day in AP and that is simply not true. Please don't give information that is not accurate.

We were approved at interview, had no missing docs or 221G and were in AP for about 7 days. I have seen several other cases that went much longer than one day in AP that also were approvals with no missing documents or 221G.

There is no magic number, every case is a little different, so neither you or anyone else can really say with 100% certainty when a case will move from AP status to issued status.
