Hey Vj'ers!

I am prepping for my upcoming interview at the Montreal, Canada embassy next month! I know I need 5 passport photos for my medical and 2 for the interview. Now, I would rather forego the expense of spending 70$ on 8 passport photos, so I am looking at alternatives. I took my one I had done 3 months ago for the I-129F to Walmart and they printed it onto regular 4x6 sheets of photo paper and I cut them out, however, they are not exact 2x2, they are off just a tad, and I'm a tad off centre in the photo (you would have to look fairly close to notice). Also, the quality obviously isn't AS great as the original. Will these be accepted, has anyone done this in the past? I don't want to take the chance of them not taking them and re-booking for my interview as I'm traveling across the country at a large expense to do this.

Also, do we need to have the date stamps on the back of the photos?

Thanks everyone!

Many DIY passport photo makers exist on the web. Can put the result on a thumb drive and print it at a drugstore or wherever.
