Quick question from someone who asked me & I want o be correct in my answer

She is a USC ( 24 yrs) who is filing for her dad, she wants to know if younger 11 yr old brother can

be added when she file the petition, should it be 2 fees paid with 2 separate app & what documents

should be sent for both.

She has to file for her father and her brother (F4 category) separately.

Her father will come to US first since there is no priority date waiting for immediate relatives of USC.

Her brother under F4 category has to wait for priority date to be current (depending on country of origin, shortest wait is 13 years).

Best situation:

She files for her father first.

Father enters US, file for his son under F2A category, about 2 years waiting.

Done with K1, AOS and ROC

not possible, as said, there aren't any derivatives in petitioning a parent. siblings are filed separately, so your dad will need to leave him behind

and when he's here, file for your brother, which will take around 2 years
