Hello, I hope you are well.

I have searched extensively online and have not found an exact answer
for my question, so I was hoping the members of this great forum could
help.

Background: my husband was not born in the USA, and immigrated here his my
family when I was young. His U.S. citizenship was acquired through his
parents when he was 12 years old. He received and and had renew his U.S. passport, but have NOT received
a certificate of citizenship in his own name.

He is petitioning for me to get a Green Card and am filling out
the last part of question 13 in form I-130, which reads "Have you
obtained a certificate of citizenship in your own name?".

Will it be fine to answer "No" and attach a photocopy of the
biographical page of his passport along with the Certificate of
Citizenship numbers of his parents? I am trying to avoid having to file
an N-600 (which would take up to six months and $600).

For reference, form i-130 Line 13 reads:
If you are a U.S. citizen, complete the following:
My citizenship was acquired through (check one):
[ ] Birth in the U.S.
[ ] Naturalization. Give certificate number and date and place of issuance.
[X] Parents. Have you obtained a certificate of citizenship in your own name?

[ ] Yes. Give certificate number, date and place of issuance. [X] No

He doesn't need a certificate. His passport shows his citizenship and because he obtained citizenship through his parents, it's fine.

Thank you very much for your answer. Should I include his parents Naturalization certificates as well? or just a copy of his passport is enough?

Copy of his passport is fine.
