NVC letter mispelled my name

The NVC letter telling me that paperwork is being sent to manila has misspelled my last name.

1) How do I contact the NVC to have this fixed? (does anybody know phone numbers or emails?)

2) Has anyone had this happen? did it cause any problems.?

There are lot of people before you that this has happened to. You do nothing. This piece of paper is only a notification and has no baring on what you can expect going forward with other documents produced by NVC or USCIS. To be certain, continue to monitor your paperwork to identify any other misspellings. This one you don't have to worry about.

Relax, you are not the first to have this issue, won't be the last either.. a typo. No the typo from NVC does not carry forward to the embassy, unless the typo is in the I-129F you completed. ;) No reason to contact NVC.

What you need to watch is that the embassy has all the information correct on the visa. The DS-160 is the application for the visa at the embassy, make sure everything is correct there.

Visa chase and citizenship.. DONE!

A link to it is half way down this page, along with a few pointers http://visaconnection-philippines.com/index.php/2-visa-process/3-usem-k-1-visa

Here is the direct link https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/forms/ds-160--online-nonimmigrant-visa-application.html
