Court and Prison Records Question

Hello,

We are in the process of collecting our supporting documents.

Is it required for both the applicant and the petitioner to collect a court/prison record and police certificate? Also, must the records be sent within a certain time after collecting them or will the NVC accept them if they were collected within the year?

nvc only the policy report from the beneficiary. it have to be current.

court/prison record and police certificate - beneficiary only. They have to be current within a year at the date of interview.

Added to that - police certificates from countries you have previously lived in (but no longer live in) do not have to be within the last year. I have sent a police certificate dated 2004 from Germany because I left there in 1999 and have not lived there since.
