Hi everyone, i would like to hear some input about my sister's situation. Her fiance is a US citizen and he will file the petition next month.

He got out of jail last May 2016 after 15 years due to drug related issues. He is clean now and he got a job and he is doing well. No more drugs.

He knows my sister from way back and they have met in the past. They got in touch again in June. They have not seen each other yet.

Would it help if he makes a letter stating his case and his intentions together with the I-129F?

Is it too early to file for a fiance visa?

How soon is too soon?

Your opinions/views or any knowledge related to this case is highly appreciated.

28-Dec-2015 CRBA Interview for our Twin Daughters

18-Jan-2016 Received CRBA and US passports of our Twin daughters :dancing:

Ayyyyyeeeee Diablo George Jung got less time in jail 15 years is a long time for a drug related charges

Don't quote me on this but I believe it's almost impossible for a felon to get a passport even more when there's drug charges involved

They need to have met in person at least once in the past 2 years. Without that requirement being met, there is no K1 application.
