Filling Out/Mailing The I-751 Form - Questions

Hi, I have several questions regarding filling out the I-751 form. I hope someone can help me.

1. I have no children. Do I need to fill out every field relating to child 1, child 2, etc and birthdays and names? If so, do I put N/A? And do I put NONE for fields that require a number for an answer?

2. Also, regarding supporting documents such as joint lease, affidavits of genuine relationship, joint utility bills, etc..., do I need to write my name, alien number, signature, and date of signature on each page? Or is this whole name, alien number, signature, date of signature stuff only required when answering questions on the I-751 form that require additional sheets (for example, explaining any detentions, arrests, etc...)?

2. On every document I highlighted my name and my husband's name. Our lawyer said to do this to make it easier for the agent

Thanks! I took your advice and wrote my alien number on every page of my supporting documents. I had to stay up late into the night to do this (after spending hours compiling and collating documents) but it gave me a little peace of mind knowing that if USCIS bureaucrats somehow, somewhere lost my documents in the paper hell they deal with daily, that the alien number can help them organize my files.

You're welcome. Yes, if a page were to blow away in the wind, they would be able to trace it back to your application with the A#, which is better than just writing your name and makes writing the name unnecessary.

Did you say you spent hours compiling/collating documents? Aaahhh.....welcome to the beast that is USCIS filings!
