Thanks!

This PDF relate to i-864.

The console in Jerusalem have noted on their site that they do not accept this one, they only accept the i-134 affidavit of support.. Is there a different chart of salasry for the i-134?

Thanks again !

Those are the general poverty guidelines issued each year in the Federal Register by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Same income requirements for the I-134 for a K-1 as for the I-864 that will be needed shortly after for AOS. Some consulates will accept 100%, but many want to see 125% because that is what you will need soon for the I-864.

Are you sure? I sponsored my own husband, so that made a family of two. But if there was a co-sponcer as well I thought that the co-sponcer(as well as anyone else in the co-sponsors household) would be included in the count as well. So one single family person who decided to be a co-sponcer, would be responsible for this couple making them into a family of 3.

I am absolutely sure, and try my best to always be sure before answering and giving out misinformation. A USC does not require any sponsorship. They are a USC and not in need of immigration benefits. As I said, unless the USC is claimed as a dependent by the co-sponsor, then they are not included in their household. Household count is detailed in the I-864 instructions.

How to count household size >

Your household size includes yourself and the following individuals, no matter where they live: any spouse, any dependent children under the age of 21, any other dependents listed on your most recent Federal income tax return, all persons being sponsored in this affidavit of support, and any immigrants previously sponsored with a Form I-864 or Form I-864 EZ
