Need help on Withdrawal of Application for Admission

Hi,

One of my friend recently received a Withdrawal of Application for Admission to the USA. She is a Canadian citizen and was going to see her fiance who is an international student doing PhD in the USA (on F1 Visa).

she quit the job few weeks before her trip and didn't book a return ticket as she wanted to spend some time with her fiance in the USA. She thought being a Canadian citizen she can go to the USA and spend about a month and come back to USA (didnt know that can create and issue).

she told the same thing to the officials when they asked and they denied her entry to the USA as she doesn't have enough ties to the Canada. And made her sign the Withdrawal of Application for Admission.

So what would you suggest:

- Does she need to wait for about a month or some time before she can reapply

- Can she apply again with a return ticket (non-refundable) and some rent lease and bank statements that can show her ties with Canada

any advice on this would be appreciated.

There no is minimum time period to wait after a successful grant of Withdrawal.

If she now has stronger ties to Canada - and more importantly can prove them - then she could try again as soon as is practicable.

I'd expect close CBP scrutiny given these circumstances.

This post is not for OP, it's apparently for a friend in Canada whose husband is in the US on a student visa. There would be no benefit in the US under their current circumstances.
