Do I need to send a copy of marriage certificate?

Hi!

I mailed my N-400 package today (YAY!!), but I have a question: I'm applying for citizenship based on the 5-year rule, even though I'm married to a US citizen. Do I need to send a copy of my marriage certificate? On the documents check list they don't mention it, but I saw it somewhere else on the USCIS webpage.

I did not send it. If it's needed, is there any chance I don't get an RFE and I can take it at the interview?

If you are not applying for citizenship based on the 3 year rule you do not need to send in your marriage certificate.
