Okay a quick rundown of the RFE. It was for my final court dispositions. Great, okay I got all of them except for one. However, I had my FBI background check and sent that in because the one final court disposition which was missing I was told was going to take 3-5 months to get to me. The courts couldn't find my file. I had someone who I knew work in that court ask what was going on and they said they couldn't find my file so they can't write it up. Okay, that was Tuesday. SOOOOOOO I sent in what I had and the FBI background check (which does have the final disposition on it) and I included a letter of why the one was missing. That being said, this morning I got a call that I can go pick up the disposition that since I needed it so soon they were just giving me what they had. Here is my question......

Should I go pick it up tomorrow and send it to USCIS and explain they did me a favor and just gave me what they had? Should I not send it? Has anyone ever sent an RFE in parts?

Thanks in advance!!

Your RFE is for court documents? And then you get an FBI background check? They do them themselves.

When you got the RFE there was a paper there is going to be send in with the response and even if you divide it up as you say it won't really help you since they won't make a decision until they have everything they asked for.

You post is a bit confusing so maybe I have misunderstood it.

I had to send in my final court dispositions from past criminal cases a long long time ago. I had called the one court and they told me the earliest they could get me the final court disposition would be about 3 months. So I went ahead and sent it in without 1 court disposition because according to the court I wouldn't get it until the end of November which would be past my RFE date.

Okay that make more sense.

I don't know what will happen, maybe another RFE for that one?

I hope someone else will be able to help you some more.

I do wish you good luck.

Yeah that is the response I got from the USCIS helpless call center. I was told they will either make a decision based on what I sent or they will request more evidence. I was like well thank you I knew that!! That is not my question. She said well I can't tell you that if you send it in it will be put in your file. I said so if I send something in it may not be put in my file. grrrr Thank you =)
