Does anybody know where we can look for local office processing times for the i-751? Mine only has processing times for Adjusting Status and N400. Maybe they don't give processing times for cases they don't normally process? Ugh... It was so close! Now I am wondering if it's a blind waiting game?

I think that is a smart move from USCIS, since a lot of earlier petitioners are already qualified to fine N-400, they might as well send all to local officers, and the local offices can just adjudicate the cases concurrently. at the same time, the local office can decide to have interview, home visit or even re-do the bio...

Maybe this is a way to stop us filing service requests...

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

17 months is a very longtime. I just got off the phone with USCIS asking them about this transfer, and the officer was specific, that, it is to reduce the backlog on CSC. So, hopefully, we are going to see lots of approvals from CSC applicants. Good luck.

That's awesome news. Progress is progress. Thanks for sharing.

i didn't apply N400. Seems like a lot of people got transferred to the local office. so it means once we got transferred, we will have the i751 interview?

You may get interview but sounds like they are just trying to reduce backlog of CSC cases. So if you never applied for citizenship (N-400) then your transferred to help the backlog. Meaning more people will hear something soon. You being one of them. Good luck.

My local office (Seattle) has no ROC processing times either. I think we are all blind waiting.

I wonder how to look upto the processing times now.

Would calling up the field office be a good idea?

You could try, what's the worst thing they could say?

I'm down for that. Lol. Maybe those that did file service request helped the transfers along.

Looks like they are moving approved cases also to local office. Our green card is in production as per the notification from USCIS last night and the site says the same when we look up using  the "working WAC#".

Out of curiosity from the conversation above, I keyed in the 'non-working WAC#" on USCIS site and it came back with "On February 26, 2018, we received your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number WACxxxxxxxxxxxx, at your local office".

No, we did not file N-400.

It is kind of weird after approving the case, they are moving them to local office. But can't complain :-) since the case is already approved.

I have gotten two different notifications from USCIS. First One said they order a new card to be produced on Feb. 8th and that the card will be mailed to my address. Today again, I got another notification saying they order a new card to be produced today after 18 days from the 1st notification. At this point, I don’t know what to believe. I assume, USCIS system is malfunctioning.

i think transferred to local office for processing, since some petitioners received the approval letter from their local offices.

Recieved approval letters right after the "non working" WAC indicated the tranfer? Interesting!

I have an infopass for my extension stamp soon...so I will get a chance to ask more about my case, and hopefully ask for an expedited action, it wont change anything I know, but I will just put it out there to them.

Please update us on whats they going top say about iy on Infopass, since apparently cases now at local offices.

Hi All,

I just punched in that second WAC number just now that never works after everyone's advice and today it works!

It pinged from my local office after having been moved there today: 2/26/18 and shows up as an I-751, not the CRI-89 that the other WAC shows up as at CSC

NEWBRIGHTON..........09/25/16........09/27/16......10/22/16......--/--/--.....NO 11/1/17 Infopass exp 11/1/18

Interesting stuff.

Thanks, for the input.  I'll  keep you posted.

Hi everyone,

My case was updated to be 'the case was received at my local office' this morning when I used one of the WAC number to check my status.

Just now I checked again, the status has been changed as below when using the two WAC numbers to check.

Does any one know the meaning 'Name was updated'? Will I receive 10 year GC soon? I cannot believe the status has been change a lot since this morning.

I am Sept 13 filer. I have not filed N400 yet.

II got so excited when I saw the changes this aftern but I checked the other forums and fillers up to July 2017 are getting the same update. Seems like the local offices just got 10 months of ROC cases in less than a week. I am worried that this would slow the process and make it worst. I’m 9/30/2016 and I was excited that I’m very close to approval but now I’m worry. Also one of the December CSC filler got home visit for no reason. She explained that they came in the morning while she and her kids were still asleep. They asked very basic questions  they said that they will recommend her for approval. Also they she said that they said that now they to like 10 home visits. I don’t care if they come home but what if me or my husband are at work. I want this to be over.

Does anybody know definitively why we have two case numbers? Originally, I thought that one related to the i-751, and that the other was for the biometrics. Now I'm really confused. I literally have one number that says "Received by CSC in Sep 2016, and now one (that initially always gave me an error) that says "Received at your local office". I'm confused...
