I am a ROC november 2016 filer and N400 December 2017 filer, and I just checked my original WAC as well, and it says that today FEbruary 26th my ROC was transferred to OKC, my field office. At least this transfer means someone has touched our case. Hopefully it goes fast from this point. For your N400, did you apply online?

No, I filed paper to lock box.

well the good thing for those that have had their files transfered, your case isn't missing because it has been touched.  lol. Also if you have filed N-400 and status has been updated to "inline for interview", now you are thru the gates. Chances now of getting the interview is 99% due to your file being in the field office. Just remember to take your spouse as it will be i-751 and n-400 interview.

Any progress is good progress if you have been waiting for 17 months like me. Seattle is like Dallas, looks like quite another few months wait.

i just checked my status, it says case was received at my local office (LA). Does it mean i will have an interview or something? or all the cases must go through at the local office? My NOA is sept 20th 2016.

Your local office will interview you for your I-751 at the same time they do your N-400. Due to the combined interview, take your spouse as they are needed for the i-751 interview.

I think this is 1 way California are trying to lighten their load, but it's certainly not a new thing. It's happened many times before.

No i didn't apply N400. i thought the case was processed at CSC not in the local office. Does it mean something wrong if the case is transferred to the local office?

Mine got transferred to the local office too as of today. My NOA is 9/28/16, CSC filer. No N400 filed. It seems to have happened to everybody including people who only just filed? So weird.

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

i didn't apply N400. Seems like a lot of people got transferred to the local office. so it means once we got transferred, we will have the i751 interview?

Is that the thing that everyone was talking about at the beginning? People said that they had 2 numbers, and one wouldn't work? Because my WAC number has always shown "Case Received" and never updated. I'm wondering if my number that's been working will show transferred, or if I should try to input the other number that never worked?

Check the one that didn't work before. That's the one saying transferred for everybody.

Try to use the first one,  the one that wasn't working

Okay, yes... I just input the other number, and it shows transferred to local office as of today. Do you think this is because our biometrics expired? I have seen posts that indicate that 15 months is the cut off, and then they have to be redone - But I've seen other parts contradicting this, so who knows?

17 months is a very longtime. I just got off the phone with USCIS asking them about this transfer, and the officer was specific, that, it is to reduce the backlog on CSC. So, hopefully, we are going to see lots of approvals from CSC applicants. Good luck.

I have an infopass for my extension stamp soon...so I will get a chance to ask more about my case, and hopefully ask for an expedited action, it wont change anything I know, but I will just put it out there to them.
