The newly released research, conducted by Christian research group LifeWay at the behest of pro-life group Care Net, paints a very different picture of those seeking abortions than you might imagine. The study interviewed 1,038 women who had received an abortion. Surprisingly, a full 70 percent of these women were Christian.

The studys results were broken down by religious beliefs, and Christianity was further divided into four distinct categories Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant and non-denominational. The two groups with the highest reported abortion rates were Protestants (26 percent of respondents) and Catholic (27 percent of respondents).

Strangely enough, those who subscribe to these beliefs also happen to be some of the most fervent against Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers. Research from the Pew Research Center, shown below, found that many with opposing views against abortion identified as Protestant or Catholic.

Republicans are against abortions but a lot of their base receive abortions. Are they really trying to block abortions because they feel it's white genocide?

not all republicans are against abortions, most are just against talking about abortions. this is what rugs are for, sweep under.

must be some sort of excellent campaign strategy trump concocted in the lab. not pandering of course, strategy.
