Hello,

I want to ask following question regarding joint sponsor's income, my wife is USA National her income is not enough to sponsor me and we have joint sponsor "my wife's aunt". Here are the joint sponsor's income detail and her number of dependents, please confirm me that joint sponsor's income is enough to sponsor me or not?

In 2013 her income was 25,000 $ with one son dependent.

In 2014 her income was 33,000 $ with one son dependent.

In 2014 she(aunt) got married to Pakistani guy and applies for her visa.

In 2015 she(aunt) and her husband file tax return jointly and their income was 55,000 $ with no dependent, in 2015 her son file tax return separately.

Is this joint sponsor income is enough to sponsor me as my wife’s aunt is main sponsor? If it is valid then aunt has to fill I-864 and her husband has to fill I-864A? but her husband didn't do jobs in 2013 and 2014 as he comes to USA in beginning of 2015. What should her husband has to write in form I864-A regarding 2013 and 2014 Tax years and Income?

Kindly answer me.

Her husband would be counted in her household size whether she sponsored him or not, so her sponsoring him does not matter.

If their household size is the 2 of them, then they only need enough for a household of 3 > https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-864p.pdf

If the aunt and her husband together are currently still earning $55k annually, then they more than meet the requirement.
