B1/B2 Expiring in Sep and have to Travel in Sep too

Fellows,

My VISA is expiring on Sep 10, 2016 and I have to travel on Sep 8, 2016 from Muscat, Oman. If applied for visa renew but it will take longer time whereas I have to be in US for Official Training which will end up by the time I will get extension. What is the way out ?

Though I was having US visa 5 yrs but never travelled.

Your views please.

Provided you initially enter the US no later than 10th September then your period of legal presence will be governed by your I-94. The visa expiration will have no bearing on your status, you just won't be able to leave and then enter again without obtaining a new visa.

Gratitude !

I got confirmation from US Embassy too and they have the same ruling as yours. I will take Company invitation letter, hotel booking, and Bank Statement. Any other specific doc I need to carry ? or any other advice to satisfy immigration officer ?
