I-864 should I still enter assets even if they won't be enough?

This forum has been of great help to me and I just want to thank those who take time to reply to my posts. Okay, I just want some clarifications on this question. With regards to the assets, should I still write them even though they won't be enough? We're a family of 4 with assets just a little over $60k, this won't be enough which is why my sister in California agreed to be our sponsor. Do I still need to write our savings and stocks even if they won't be enough to cover?

Also.. if some of our accounts are joint, do I divide them in half for my husband's I-864? How about for our kids?

no, that section is optional and only to be filled out if you will use assets instead of income

since you will have a joint sponsor, no need to fill that section out
