Hi world...l am IR-CR and live in the country, my husband filed for me.

First of all I don't have B2 visa.

There is a wedding in November I will like to attend in the state, I wonder if I get approved before the November, if I can apply for a B2 or if I can request fora travel documents to attend to a wedding and return back home?

Of course you can try to apply for a tourist visa... there's no harm in trying :) Just be prepared to convince the CO that you have every intention of returning to your home country. Good luck!

Yes, you can still try :) But like I said, it might be difficult to convince the CO that you will return (just because you already have a IR1/CR1 visa pending), so be extremely prepared to show him that you don't intend on overstaying.

I did exactly what you are trying to do. I was so worried because of all sorts of misleading info on the Internet. I went and returned no problems. What helped me was my numerous previous trips. You have to convince them at the embasdy and POE Thant you will go back. Good luck.

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

July 23, 2025:  Filed N-400 online
