hello

i got a serious doubt here

my husband is coming to india to see me after a long my petition is at nvc- choice of agent stage

my husband is saying to make his brother that is my brother in law as the choice of agent

is it possible for my brother in law to be my choice of agent

he is not sponsoring me

I don't see why not. When there's an attorney in the picture, he is often agent. And those attorneys for darn totting are *not* sponsoring their clients ...

As I understand it, the role of the agent is mainly to collect mail and get it on toward wherever it needs to be, keep petitioner and beneficiary aware of calendar issues, and that sort of thing.
