Hi this is my first post and i'm quite nervous about this whole thing. I have submitted my i-129f and after i mailed it off i noticed that i had the same names on the letters of intent. see examples below:

this is the beneficiary

this is mine and it still has

is this going to get me an RFE or denial at all?

i mean the signatures are original and the intent is still vaild of course i just misplaced switching the names because we used the same file to sign. stupid mistake but i don't think it will be a problem as they are exactly the same but different dates because we signed them on different dates. please help me and ease my worries a bit.

I tend to disagree. You won't get a denial for something like that but I say you must likely get a RFE. Those Letters of Intent are very important and they must be 100% correct. They are so important that when you are signing the DS-160 they make you sign a statement saying you'll marry within 90 days of arrival, plus you need to provide a new LOI for the interview. Just get ready one with the correct info and mail it as soon as you get the RFE. Please note that you need to wait for the RFE, don't mail it before.

It will not be a show stopper, but as has already been said, it will likely cause a delay. When we filed, I did even better, and left one original letter in the copy machine. We waited for the inevitable RFE, and stuck that letter of intent in the mail the day after the RFE arrived. It was about a 2-3 week delay for the Postal Service, but it all turned out fine.

i just thought i had all my "T's" crossed and my "i's" dotted. I guess not. it was quite a bit of information and i hope it is just an easy RFE if at all. I'm ready to send the file immediately. can someone tell me what i will need to prepare. i know i will need a cover letter for the RFE. i'm thankful that it was MY name and MY letter of intent and not hers, because i'm the one that prepared it all. such an insignificant mistake i cannot believe i did that. especially the sheer fact that i had copied the letter word for word and just forgot to change our names..... ugh.... please tell me it will be alright!

Yes, it should be an easy fix. Like you mentioned, include a cover letter explaining you are responding to the RFE and the corrected LOI. I would also include copy of the RFE. Make sure you send it by a traceable way. Good luck.
